Sonya Lazarevic MD, MS Integrative Psychiatrist
Medical Training: Dr. Lazarevic graduated from St. George's University School of Medicine and completed psychiatry residency at Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons, St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Division as Chief Resident. She graduated from the Integrative Medicine Fellowship at the University of Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine and the Addiction Psychiatry Fellowship at New York University. Dr. Lazarevic is ABPN double board-certified in general psychiatry and addiction psychiatry, and ABPS integrative medicine board eligible. She is currently completing a Regenerative Medicine fellowship with the A4M.
Approach: A diagnosis of an autoimmune disorder prompted Dr. Lazarevic to seek health solutions solutions beyond conventional medicine. This initiated a multi-year journey into functional and regenerative medicine as a patient, witnessing the benefits she integrated it into her clinical practice. With improved health, she pursues training in functional, regenerative medicine and essential oils, which she in sum describes as her integrative approach.
Prior to medical training, Dr. Lazarevic earned an M.S. in Social Work from Columbia University and an Advanced Yoga Teacher Certificate from the Integral Yoga Institute of New York. Since the 1990s, she taught numerous mind-body workshops in New York City while maintaining a private practice as a psychotherapist and yoga instructor. Her foundation in yoga and meditation continues to be infused into her work.
Dr. Lazarevic studied meditation with various schools yet remains dedicated to one teacher for over 25 years. She is additionally trained in multiple forms of bodywork. Her extensive psychotherapeutic training allows her to draw from the following methods in her clinical practice; Gestalt, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Mindfulness (MBSR, MBRP), Motivational Interviewing, and Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP).
Keri London, Billing Specialist
Keri has worked with our practice for more than 10 years. She answers questions regarding insurance plan coverage, prior authorizations and payment plans. Keri additionally manages practice operations and organizational development as our office grows, she is THE most tech-savvy team member we have- which we greatly appreciate.
A graduate of Vatterott College with prior work experience as a computer analyst and a paralegal. She is a mother of three and owns the virtual assistant company MHLynk. Among her many talents, Keri is passionate about health and healing and runs her wildly popular Heart Sounds for the Soul groups which integrate Heart Math training with personalized coaching.
Galina Goldstein RD, CDN Functional Nutritionist
Galina graduated from Hunter College, City University of New York, in 2000. She pursued her passion for clinical nutrition while working in critical care at several leading hospitals in the New York metropolitan area, including Holy Name Hospital, Englewood Medical Center, Westchester Medical Center and Lenox Hill Hospital.
With over 25 years of experience Galina is an expert in the nutritional management of chronic disease. She approaches each individual with keen insight, taking the time to understand their unique health story while demonstrating a deep commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those she serves.
Her training in functional medicine was born out of personal interest when she faced her own health issues which conventional medicine was unable to fully address.

Rachel Lazaridis, Administrative Assistant
Rachel is our stellar office manager who handles appointments, scheduling and general practice questions.
Rachel graduated from Dowling College with a business degree. Prior work experience includes a financial aid advisor, personal assistant and debt consolidation coach. She is also a small business owner, mother of two and a salt of the earth native New Yorker whose personal touch we greatly value. Her interests include cooking, fishing and ice hockey.
Shuki Cohen MSc, PhD Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Shuki Cohen is an Associate Professor of Clinical Psychology at CUNY, where he has spent nearly two decades training graduate students in advanced psychotherapy. His clinical approach is uniquely informed by his background in Biochemistry and Neuroscience, and enriched by mindfulness practices. He specializes in helping clients navigate complex trauma, addiction, and interpersonal difficulties.
A widely published academic, Dr. Cohen has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles and presented extensively on topics of emotional dysregulation and cognitive rigidity, particularly as they relate to trauma and political identity.
In his practice, Dr. Cohen draws from a comprehensive toolkit of therapeutic techniques he actively teaches and supervises. He provides both individual and group therapy, incorporating methods from Psychodynamic, Cognitive-Behavioral (CBT), Rational-Emotive Behavioral (REBT), EMDR, Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing to create a tailored and effective treatment plan for each client.
